In the last two weeks the Sea Turtle Conservation Team conducted drawing competitions in three different schools (Kanchogodu, Maravanthe, Kodikanyana) with turtle related topics. Students from 5th to 7th Standard took part and created very nice drawings. Every standard got its own topic with rising levels of difficulty to higher standards. Sustainable agriculture project is implementing in FSL Training Center Kundapur.  Watershed components like Gully Plugs, Trenches and Organic Farming is already implemented in Training Center. This will help volunteers and also to Community people to learn about organic farming.

During the month of December 2014, two of our work camp team leaders; Rajesh and Arkesh, led an organic farming and environment themed work camp in Pondicherry. Attending this work camp were three volunteers from two different countries; the French and Germany. GTG, Kundapur- December

On the 11th and 12th December , FSL- India organised a Get together for the long term volunteers living around Kundapur. There are 10 volunteers participated, accompanied by 5 FSL staff members. This month’s GTG was held at Simha Farms. Simha Farms is located in the Western Ghats mountain range and is surrounded by the Ghats’ evergreen forests. Its remote location makes for a perfect place to relax from everyday life and enjoy the nature.

The Bangalore region organised LTV get-together at AIKYA in Bangalore on 13th and 14th. November 2014. Altogether 13 volunteers from Bangalore Region participated in the program.  The LTV team of FSL-India facilitated the get-together.
