The LTV Get-together has been organised in Mysore for the month of December 11th and 12th at Youth hostel. Altogether 9 volunteers from Bangalore Region participated in the get together.  The LTV team FSL-India facilitated the get-together.

The primary focus of the get-together was to know the progress on the inter-cultural learning and project activities assigned to each volunteer. During the two-day program we were conducting activities in Govt School. We had painted three class rooms where poor children are getting free education from the Govt School and conducted and one-to-one talk with coordinators. This was an occasion for the volunteers to share their experience with others on their project work, progress made and results achieved also they were sharing their Intercultural experiences and project experience with each other’s through the project evaluation activity. During one-to one talk with the respective coordinators, volunteers discussed on the challenges they face in the projects and motivated by our coordinator.

The next day morning people in the school invited volunteer and staffs of FSL and done a big vote thanks to us by presenting flowers and cotton garland to everyone. The cotton garland indicated that Gandhi who is one of the free fighter of India, he always wear that on the neck also it shows that only social service people can wear it.
