During the month of December 2014, two of our work camp team leaders; Rajesh and Arkesh, led an organic farming and environment themed work camp in Pondicherry. Attending this work camp were three volunteers from two different countries; the French and Germany. GTG, Kundapur- December

On the 11th and 12th December , FSL- India organised a Get together for the long term volunteers living around Kundapur. There are 10 volunteers participated, accompanied by 5 FSL staff members. This month’s GTG was held at Simha Farms. Simha Farms is located in the Western Ghats mountain range and is surrounded by the Ghats’ evergreen forests. Its remote location makes for a perfect place to relax from everyday life and enjoy the nature.

The Bangalore region organised LTV get-together at AIKYA in Bangalore on 13th and 14th. November 2014. Altogether 13 volunteers from Bangalore Region participated in the program.  The LTV team of FSL-India facilitated the get-together. The underlying objective of the get-together is to asses the progress on the inter-cultural learning and project activities assigned to each volunteer. FSL-India Kundapur team observed International volunteers Day in Chaitanya Special School on 5th December 2014. The team volunteered to help and cleaned the play ground and installed playing material (marry ground) which was donated by volunteers. Sea-turtle conservation Awareness at Uppunda

HBP team organized Sea-turtle Conservation (STC) Work camp from 10th to 21st November-2014. This is the 2nd work-camp of the Sea Turtle Conservation Project, which took place in Uppunda-Madikal village. Despite of only one volunteer from France arriving for the work-camp, the two weeks of raising awareness about sea turtles was a great success.
