My Volunteering Experience in India!- Annika Sauer
Project- CSI Orphanage Girl’s Home– 9 months I liked the project and the work I did but it was quiet difficult to find my place in the project, because day is planned through all along. I had to fight to get some time to play with children.
Cultural Event-Kundapur
FSL India organized Cultural Event for regular volunteer on 13th May 2016. The volunteer Sarah Abgrall who is working in Mangalore-South India. This month cultural event focused on Hindu ritual called Koola.
Summer camp at training center-Kundapur
Summer is the time for children to refresh themselves, to know new things, to enjoy the holidays. Every year FSL-India organizes summer camps in schools but for the first time FSL-India organized Summer camp at Shetrakatte training centre from 26th to 30th April – 2016

Project The second Primary School turned out to be a lot more fun to work in. The students are more interested and friendly. You almost never need to worry about discipline there.

The impacts….. The children are so interested in learning and playing, but they have no chance without any things to learn or to play with

Opinion about Social projects in India and its life: -I realized that NGO in Indian are quite well organized, more than what I thought. I learnt also that lots of work was already done to inform people about Child Sexual Abuse but still lots of work needs to be done.

The impacts…. In the beginning it was difficult in regard to language differences and to learn about the daily routine. With the time the relationship to staff got better and better. It took time to build up a nice atmosphere. The teachers got more open minded and we got a really nice relationship

Skills gained…. Even when children are handicapped they can be treated like any other people and w should love them the way they are.
