FSL India’s Kundapura Region organised a cultural event at Heskattur Primary Government School. A plan was put in place well in advance to organise this cultural event, and the roles and responsibilities were shared to make it successful. From the 10th-20th October, we worked with 20 German volunteers on Varanashi Organic Farms. Our work was to fertilise different trees: cacao, nutmeg, arecanut and coconut trees. We fed the plants with 45 tons of manure and covered 15 acres with it. We worked in teams of 5-10. So, we split the work in different steps. That was very good and effective.
