GTG BLOG ARTICLE, March- Bangalore region

The LTV Get-together is organised in Bangalore for the month of March 12th and 13th at Sneha Care Home, It’s a HIV affected children project and all children are getting free education, food and accommodation. There are 10 volunteers from Bangalore Region have participated in the get together.  The LTV team FSL-India facilitated the get-together.

The LTV Get-together is organised in Pondicherry for the month of January 12th and 13th at Anbalayam. Altogether 11 volunteers from Bangalore Region participated in the get together.  The LTV team FSL-India facilitated the get-together. Quarterly Evaluation Program for AFS BMZ and IJFD NH14 batch

Quarterly evaluation was conducted for AFS BMZ and IJFD NH14 batch at FSL-India youth training centre, Kundapur which was held between 19th-21st November. In total 37 volunteers participated in this event facilitated by 10 Fsl-India long term volunteer coordinators. Overall objective of QTE is to ensure volunteers understanding about their project, host family system and the intercultural acceptance through evaluation and to help participants settle on their future actions.

July GTG

         On the 17th and 18th of July, a monthly get-together (GTG) took place in Yercaud, Tamil Nadu. Eight volunteers and four FSL-India staff members attended this GTG.             Participants visited Mundakabati village and planted saplings in a playground. They also interacted with the inhabitants. Volunteers also had a chance to have one-on-one talks with their coordinators.
