Get Together Kundapur Region January 2015 – FSL Training Center

After a short digestion break after lunch, the “Marilynn-Monroe-toaster”-energizer was conducted to bring everyone back to 100%. The first session was about inspiring people. Staffers and volunteers noted down on paper leafs which people inspire them – be it other volunteers, people they met or celebrities. The leafs were then glued onto a tree drawn on a poster. In the end, everyone explained why they find those people inspiring.
In the second session, everyone should express their failed challenges, challenges they still want to overcome and what they are going to take home. The failed challenges (“dustbin”) were written down on white flags. It was mostly about making changes in people, like overcoming the caste system or changing someone else’s way of thinking. The green flags displayed challenges that are yet to be overcome, which was mainly smaller things that could be done in the near future. The orange flags stood for a backpack for the things that one wants to take home.
The sessions were followed by a jeep trip to Kodi Lighthouse where the GTG-group met the participants of the STC work camp. After dinner back at the TC, a campfire was started around which the GTG and STC work camp participants gathered.
