On 10th December 2019, the School of Social Work at Roshni Nilaya, Mangalore invited FSL India and its volunteers to the one-day Seminar on “Human Trafficking: Challenges & Responses“. FSL India along with our volunteers brought changes to Heskattur – Kundapura Region Intercultural Event at Heskattur Primary Government School

FSL India’s Kundapura Region organised a cultural event at Heskattur Primary Government School. A plan was put in place well in advance to organise this cultural event, and the roles and responsibilities were shared to make it successful. LTV team, Kundapur organised a Quarterly Evaluation for our Long Term Volunteers. The program was held for 3 days, from 27th-29th November 2019.  In total, 30 volunteers from AFS took part in this evaluation. Winter Camp at Varanashi Organic Farms – Miriam Seffers and Selin Yenice, Germany

From the 10th-20th October, we worked with 20 German volunteers on Varanashi Organic Farms. Our work was to fertilise different trees: cacao, nutmeg, arecanut and coconut trees. We fed the plants with 45 tons of manure and covered 15 acres with it. We worked in teams of 5-10. So, we split the work in different steps. That was very good and effective.
