LTV Bangalore Zone’s Contact Person & Host Family Workshops – November 2019
FSL India is greatly indebted to our Project Partners and Host Families. Together, we join hands with our LTV team to make each and every volunteer’s journey in India both meaningful and comfortable.
Every year, our LTV team organises a Contact Person workshop for our Project Partners and Host Families, to build a stronger relationship with FSL India and help them to have a better understanding of our volunteers.
In all, 47 Contact Persons attended the workshops for Bangalore Region, i.e. 14 at Kanchipuram on 6th November, 19 at Pondicherry on 7th November and 14 at Mysore on 11th November.
The CPHF workshop mainly focused on the learnings from hosting international volunteers.
Our Contact Persons talked about the challenges they had faced during the past year, and the solutions that they came up with to overcome them.
All the participants enjoyed the games, energisers and group discussion.
At the end of the day, they said they enjoyed themselves and, at the same time, they were able to overcome their prejudices.
All the LTV staff felt that the workshop went well, with lots of takeaways on both sides.
The feedback from the participants was very encouraging, everything worked well and we are really satisfied with our work and the results.
