100 Turtle Eggs found at Maravanthe – Times of India, Mangalore dated 21.03.2019

Alerted by the local fishermen, FSL-India’s Sea Turtle Conservation team rescued 100 sea turtle eggs found at Maravanthe beach. Along with the Forest Department, a hatchery has been built and we are eagerly waiting for the turtles to hatch. Rakesh Soans, FSL-India’s President spoke to Times of India, Mangalore about our FSL-India’s efforts to protect this beautiful marine creature.

On the 15th of February, FSL-India’s, Sea Turtle Conservation project volunteers Emil and Melina and their Coordinator, Manjunath B went to the Government Higher Primary School at Koravadi village to create awareness on Sea Turtle Conservation.
