On 21^st of  November  Saturday, 2015, the FSL-India HBP team had an opportunity to participate in the Flora & Fauna  annual conference. We presented a skit about “Bird Conservation” at Hotel Hariprasad’s Akshata Hall. The skit was presented by International volunteers and staff of  FSL India (Home based project).

This Eco-club function was organized by the Flora & Fauna Club and about 200 students and teachers from different Eco-club schools participated.  Through the skit & songs, we showed the  children about dangers for Birds & the importance of Bird conservation.

The day proved to be a very successful one, as all the Volunteers had a lot of fun and our hosts were pleased with our short performance.

Among the public it is very important to create awareness even through small events like the Eco-club meeting. Volunteers of FSL India such as Ms. Johanna, Mr. David, Ms. Marina, Mr. Vivek, Mr. Girish , Ms. Akshatha – MSW students and the staff members such as Mr. Manjunath, Mr. Vivek, Mr. Dinesh, Mr. Manjesh, Mr. Jeevan, Mrs. Geetha, Ms. Shalini and Ms. Manjula participated.
