FSLIndia as a CSR initiative tie up with Hyundai Dymos Lear a leading manufacturer of car seats –focused on Pond renovation project for the upcoming six months in Thandalam village.

As an initiative the orientation training has been conducted at Govt Primary school Thandalam. In this training,  the participants were;  Mr. Velayutham Panchayath President, Mr. SasiKumar Vice president, Mr. Ramesh Panchayath secretary, 30 SHG women from 15 groups and School Teachers.

During the project orientation session FSL internal trainer explained about “Dymos Lear –Pond Renovation project” activity components to the participants to get their real support and coordination for the successful development and also the outcome of the training is to form the PPM-Public Property Management committee as well for the monitoring and the decision making. Through this training we make participatory approach from the community.

The following activities to be implemented as follows: Beatification of community pond in Thandalam village, Construction of community sanitary complex, Construction of cloth washing setup near the community pond, Organize capacity building programs for community, Formation on public property maintenance group, Create Awareness on water conservation and environment cleanliness related to pond among community.
