The awareness on the ALTERNATIVE ELECTRICITY THROUGH SOLAR ENERGY was conducted among the general public and students on 24th June 2015 in Mevalurkuppam, Kancheepuram district of Tamil Nadu by the research scholar Mr. Satish. He explained them about producing alternative electricity through solar energy and its uses; advantages of Solar Board by Direct Current and its process; sustainable energy consumption; its uses for water grids, solar pumps and solar grids; details about the subsidies available under government schemes was also imparted to them.
