The CSR collaboration of FSL India and Apollo Tyres outlay the plan for various programs towards improving health conditions, hygienic conditions of community and school; further attempting to increase the awareness on menstrual hygiene among adolescent girls and personal hygiene among community in three villages – Oragadam, Sennakuppam and Mathur located in Sriperumbudur taluk of Kancheepuram district.

As a part of the initiative, a step forward is taken to conduct a camp towards identifying the grade of malnourishment among the  babies and children of 0 – 5 years old in Sennakuppam and Mathur villages on 26th June 2015. There were 47 babies and children in Sennakuppam and 52 of Mathur attended the camp.

In the camp, the specific details such as family details, food consumption of baby, weight of baby at birth and at present, types of food given to the baby etc were collected. Depending upon the grading of malnourishment, the follow up of increasing the level of nourishment will be undertaken.
