The camp in Goa was conducted from 9th to 22nd Feb 2015. The volunteers are from france , Costa Rica, Italy & south Korea took part in this kids/ culture/ festival theme based camp

.

The camp was conducted in Canacona, a peaceful town far away from goan chaios & hour drive from Madgoan. The main aim of the camp was to teach basic English to children’s from below poverty line besides doing some renovation works in the school , introduce HYSCO technology to school children. Volunteers were very satisfied by teaching activities & they had opportunity to sit & eat snacks with children.

 

The school staff were very welcoming & always there to answer questions from volunteers. On 15th Goa was ready to celebrate its very own carnival & all the volunteers pack there day-pack as carnival was in madgoan. The whole evening went on having fun & laughs.

 

The 2nd week was scheduled to do educational paintings in the school following by gardening activities. As part of teaching health & hygiene volunteers made hand sanitizer taken from HYSCO technology. On Shiva ratri eve, volunteer had chance to visit lord Shiva temple on this special day. As the camp came to an end volunteers paid a visit to Indian family. Happy hearts were distributed & farewell was bid to them as volunteers went on for further travel in India.
