The Kundapur Region’s monthly Get Together for the month of March was held on Thursday and Friday- 12th and 13th at Green Wood resort. Participants are three staff members and nine volunteers.

   

The Green Woods Resort surrounded by the serene beauty of the lush green forest, Green Woods Resort is a perfect getaway where nature presents herself in her best attire. The resort is spread over 100 acres in the heart of Mother Nature and borders exquisite greenery and unsurpassed bio-diversity of wildlife. The GTG started with welcome, updates and energizer.  The FSL-Facilitator conducted session called Mood Graph this activity was intended to reflect on the volunteer good and hard times during their stay in India.

Second session was conducted to evaluate personal development of the volunteers by having this experience and ICL. Facilitator displayed the materials which  we prepared in advance and informed the volunteers to write their names on that flower which  was prepared with the paper, the volunteers were informed to write the learning’s on the petals and to write about the things to take back to their country on the natural leaves.

After the session, group visited the beach and watched the sunset. During night  the volunteer had one to one with their respective coordinator. Next morning, the group visited the flower garden spread around the Green Woods resort. The volunteers were very impressed to see the different varieties of ornamental flowers at the garden. Later visited the Senapura Tent School and volunteers interacted with tent children. Then, visited Guddemmady Subramanya Temple and Kindergarten next to the temple. Volunteers were enjoyed the visit and gave a very good feedback about the get together.
