In the month of November, FSL India had a great opportunity to host the Weltwaerts Partner Conference, Asia Pacific Region 2015 from 24^th to 27^th November 2015.

This event was fully funded by the Federal ministry of the Economic Cooperation Germany. In total there were 65 participants from 5 different Nationalities (Malaysia, China, Bangladesh, Germany, India and Philippines).

The Guest of Honour for the event were:

-Mrs. Tina Hoffman, Weltwärts Coordination Unit at Engagement Global.

-Mr. Wolfgang Koster, Germany Embassy, Delhi

-Ms. Kristi, Sending Director from AFS Germany

-Mr. Ashok Bhat, Additional Secretary, Home ministry, Karnataka.

-Mrs. Andrea Christ – Deputy Consul General

The presence of all the officials added a color to the event.

The main objective of this event was to exchanges ideas between organizations for the betterment of the Weltwaerts program.

Indeed this event has marked a history and strengthened collaboration and partnership among organizations, also committed to advance the spirit of volunteerism in the Asia Pacific region.

We also take the gratitude to thank each and every participants for their active participation and contribution in the Conference. Without their presence this event would not have been a successful one!!

We also hope that this conference will help all the Participants to contribute the experience gained during the Conference. Also they will be able to implement all the ideas for the betterment of the Weltwaerts program.
