On 3rd of December FSL-India’s HBP team Organized Health Check-up camp at Yedthadi for tent families with collaboration of MSW Department – Srimathi Rukmini Shedthi memorial national Government first grade college Barkur, Bhoomi clinic Yedthadi and GUARD Organization Udupi.

In this camp children and families got medical test & treatment from local doctors. Nearly 80 tent people got benefited and got medicines for free of cost. Most of the family members of Yedthadi are suffering from skin problem, cold, cough, fever, ear problems etc…. Before the Health check-up inaugural function held by lighting the lamps from our resource persons Dr. Mamatha & Dr. Krishnaprasad Aythal. FSL-India representative Mr. Jeevan, College representative Mr. Laxmikanth Bhat, Mr. Manjunath Mokashi, GUARD organization representatives also participated & gave awareness about hygienic and nutrition food.

After the health check-up Doctors referred some children for further treatment to their hospitals and they assured togive free treatment to these children. Tent families & local community people appreciated FSL-India’s effort for organizing health camp. For Organizing this health camp HBP staff, MSW students, volunteers contacted sponsors and collected funds to this camp.
