Farmers meeting @ training centre
FSL-India HBP team organized meeting with farmers at Training centre. The program started with introduction of participants.
During the meeting discussed with farmers on farming farmers group to share knowledge of each other to support them for better result in agriculture and also discussed about the present scenario of agriculture, which are the problem they are facings like peacock, monkey, insects, animals, market for organic products etc..
Mr. Padmanabha Adiga, organic farmer from Bhatradi, explained about how to make agriculture as a economically sustainable and pest controlling techniques and overcoming from extremal agricultural problem. Later he demonstrated a Jeevamrutha which is a very simple, less expensive and 100% organic method of manure to get more yields.
It also helps to control pests and gives more energy to plants. Farmers can get locally available materials to prepare jeevamrutha like cow dung, cow urine, jaggery, soil, Legume power and water which will help the farmers to save money. This is a very simple, less expensive and 100% organic method for manure to get more yields. Local farmers, HBP team, TC team, YDP interns and volunteers participated in this demonstration. Farmers were agreed to practice this in their farm and FSL-India team also will help them to prepare it.
