In the month of June 2017, FSL-India LTV Bangalore Region organized a Cultural Event (CE) at Bangalore and Kanchipuram zone, under different themes.

Bangalore low

Bangalore: Theme: Religion: Pyramid Valley, home for the world’s largest meditation pyramid, is an international meditation centre serving individuals, societies and organizations in their quest for self-realization and spiritual wisdom and helps them unlock their hidden potential. The coordinator visited the place with 1 volunteer. In the afternoon, they had lunch together after the coordinator had a one to one talk with the volunteer about the project and host family.

Kanchipuram: Theme: Nature: Guindy National Park is a 2.70 km2 (1.04 sq mi) protected area of Tamil Nadu, located at Chennai, South India and is one of the very few national parks situated inside a city. The park is an extension of the grounds surrounding Raj Bhavan, formerly known as the ‘Guindy Lodge’, the official residence of the Governor of Tamil Nadu, India. It extends deep inside the governor’s estate, enclosing beautiful forests, scrub lands, lakes and streams. The coordinator visited the place with 1 volunteer. Feedback from the volunteers

  • Very nice to see this nature place. No noise, peaceful. Nice to know about how to do meditation. Meditation we can do outside with nature also instead of doing inside the pyramid. Food also good and thank you for the day.
  • Children’s park in Guindy is very peaceful and you can see lots of interesting animals. The appeal of Gandhi mandabam whose designs are very impressive and the food was very nice.
