A step forward in fulfilling the social responsibility of Corporate towards Society, FSL India ties with Apollo Tyres in CSR Arena. FSL India undertakes the study on Health, Hygiene and Sanitation conditions of community of Sennakuppam and Mathur in Kancheepuram districts.

The baseline survey consists of various tools on finding out the status of above said components in the community.

-The door – door baseline survey conducted to find out the conditions of Health and Open defecation in the community;

-Focus Group Discussion among the adolescent girls is being conducted to find out the awareness, usage, managerial practices and disposal methods related to Menstrual Hygiene.

-Finally to find out the major health problem prevailing among the community,

FSL India joins with Apollo tyres and Saveetha Medical college Hospital and conducts “Health Camp” focussing on General Medicine, Gynaecology, paediatric medicine, Cardiology and blood testing to find out the Anaemic and Diabetic level among the people in the community on 6th and 7th March 2015 in Mathur and Sennakuppam. The Final report on the baseline will be submitted in the second week of March 2015. Based on the results of the study, Apollo tyres will be formulating the project to serve better for their community in Mathur and Sennakuppam.
