LTV – Orientation Blog Article- March 2015

Date: 2nd to 6th March 2015.                                       Venue:  FSL-India, Wilson Garden- Bangalore In the month of March the LTV orientation has been held in FSL India’s head office for five days from 02nd to 6th March 2015, in Bangalore. FSL India received 5 short Term Volunteers from 4 different parts of countries (France, Spain, Sweden and Italy)

The LTV Get-together is organised in Bangalore for the month of March 12th and 13th at Sneha Care Home, It’s a HIV affected children project and all children are getting free education, food and accommodation. There are 10 volunteers from Bangalore Region have participated in the get together.  The LTV team FSL-India facilitated the get-together.

Hi, I’m Tom from Germany and I was working in the St. Xaviers Educational Development Society (SXEDS). It’s a NGO based in Arni in Southern India, which was found 20 years ago by the former priest S.S. Muthu.SXEDS supports the socially deprived and empowers them to live a self-reliant life with dignity. For this purpose different approaches are taken: a Day Care Center for Disabled Children, women-training, health awareness-programs, self-help-groups, micro financing and an orphanage.

Final evaluation was held on 3rd and 4th March 2015 for AFS SH14 batch FSL India Head office, Bangalore. BMZ/IJFD participants were – Marie-Christin, Joana Cristina , Tom Michael, Anne Sophia , Jana, Benedict, Lucia Marie and evaluation was facilitated by six coordinator from LTV team.
