As the summer holidays for the government schools in India last 8 weeks, all the volunteers from FSL-India’s teaching project were sent to a summer project. During their summer project in April and May, 12 volunteers met at Varanashi Organic Farms. Our working days started with putting out the cocoa to dry and after that, different kinds of work was done. Mainly, they we cleaned the water channels in the cocoa plantations for the rainy season. In March 2019, FSL-India’s volunteers at the Centre for Experiential Living, Kundapur started to build an Eco Bench. Plastic was collected from nearby shops and local people in order to reuse it for the Eco Bricks.
