From 14th-16th of October, about 24 Indian children decided to spend a part of their holidays at the Winter Camp of FSL-India’s Centre for Experiential Living (CEL), Kundapur. Compared to our Adventure Camps, the Winter Camp was aimed not only at having a fun time, but also at education. 3rd October was the first day of our first adventure camp for Indian school children between the ages of 9 to 16, the second camp started one week later. The camps lasted for 3 days, and included their stay at our Centre for Experiential Living and all meals. From April 8 until April 10, 2019 FSL-India’s Manjesh and the 2 long-term volunteers Linda and Paul facilitated the “Summer Camp” for 35 children at the Government Kannada School at Kandlur. The FSL-India Team was invited by the local Women’s Club, and welcomed by the school teachers, to organise 3 days filled with fun activities for the young girls and boys during their holidays. From 11th to 13th of April, FSL-India’s staff and volunteers conducted a summer camp at our Centre for Experiential Living, Shettrakatte with the support of the Social Work students from Milagres College, Kallianpur.
