My name is Anuschka Lütje and I am a LTV from Germany. Since August 2015 I am staying at the Mariella Children´s Home in a small village near Chennai, Tamil Nadu.

I am a short-time (3 months) volunteer and now it has been my 7th week in India. I enjoy my stay here very much. It took almost four week time to me to accustom myself to new surroundings. And now the time is going by very quickly and I am very sad to think about leaving India.

Cultural meet- Kundapur!
In Kundapur, this month cultural meet was focused on an actual cultural experience. We took our three volunteers to Indian marriage.
Cultural meet- Bangalore region!
FSL INDIA every month organised cultural Event for Volunteers. During cultural event, a volunteer will visit nearby place in different themes and learn about Indian culture.
Orientation- Kundapur
FSL India had hosted six Long Term Volunteers and they are from Germany. Volunteers have gone through different sessions to be well prepared for their successful journey in India.
Community Toilet Construction
Fsl India is working for eradicating the habit of Open Defecation by promoting Toilets through CSR- corporate social responsibility initiatives to the community BPL- Below Poverty Line households, who could not really afford to construct.
Farmers meeting @ training centre
FSL-India HBP team organized meeting with farmers at Training centre. The program started with introduction of participants.
New Chapter Of YDP at Kundapura.
The Youth Development Programme has expanded by establishing a chapter in Kundapur starting this month. This was greeted with a lot of positive responses and good motivation.

My name is Anna Maria Fink. I am 19 years old and working in the Mariella Children’s Home for one year as a social worker. In this orphanage there are about 50 children. 30 girls and 20 boys. I am working in the morning from 06:30-09:00 and in the afternoon from 17:00 to 20:30 o’clock. In the morning I am helping my contact person with the kitchen work. This means I am cutting the vegetables, clean the dishes or helping her…
