July GTG
On the 17th and 18th of July, a monthly get-together (GTG) took place in Yercaud, Tamil Nadu. Eight volunteers and four FSL-India staff members attended this GTG. Participants visited Mundakabati village and planted saplings in a playground. They also interacted with the inhabitants. Volunteers also had a chance to have one-on-one talks with their coordinators.
LTV get-together
On the 16th of May, three long-term volunteers (LTV), along with one FSL-India staff member met in the historic town of Hampi, Karanataka for a monthly get-together (GTG). Everyone had a chance to visit the historic monuments and temples, as well as have one-on-one talks with their coordinator.
Get-together in Mysore
April month’s long-term volunteer’s (LTV) get-together (GTG) took place on the 15th and 16th of the month in Mysore, Karnataka. Five international volunteers attended the GTG which was facilitated by four FSL-India staff members. In addition to exchanging experiences and relaxing, participants also had one-on-one talks with their coordinators and attended a discussion with a host family on the topic of inter-cultural learning. Get-together in Kundapur
Once again, the month of April saw another long-term volunteers (LTV) get-together (GTG) in Kundapura. Get-together in Pondicherry
Another get-together (GTG) took place this month for a different batch of long-term volunteers (LTV). From the 13th of March to the 14th of March, five FSL-India staff members and nine LTVs got together in Pondicherry, Tamil Nadu to talk about their experiences so far, have one on one conversations with their coordinators, and get motivated for their future work at their projects. Monthly get-together at Kodachadri Hills
February month’s long-term volunteers get-together (GTG) took place at Kodachadri Hills, in the Shimoga district of Karnataka. Facilitating the GTG were five staff members of our Kundapura office. Volunteers’ Get Together in January
January month’s long-term volunteer’s get-together (GTG) took place on the 16th and 17th at the beautiful Kawari Palm Grove Resort in Murudeshwar, North Canara District.
