Voluntarism forms the core of FSL-India’s activities, driving many of its initiatives. From our Home Based Projects (HBPs) to our workcamps, the spirit of giving back to a community for its betterment is a key pillar of our work.

We therefore work to spread this spirit of voluntarism by speaking to high schools, youth clubs and colleges. Recently, we conducted presentations in Udupi District of Karnataka to facilitate discussions on the importance of volunteering. Through such activities, we work to foster a conscious desire among community members, particularly the youth, to initiate positive change in their localities through volunteering.

We reached out to nearly 840 community members, a majority of them youth, through the initiative.
