We can say that these three weeks have been as challenging as fun for everyone. All together, the 12 Spanish and the 2 Colombian volunteers, along with their Spanish coordinator and other 2 team leaders from FSL India, have had amazing experiences and fruitful adventures together in India.

We developed activities in an orphanage in Bangalore (capital of Karnantaka) regarding health and hygiene isues, we had different cultural trips to explore the breathtaking Indian diversity of people and traditions and we also visited tent school, the school that FSL India has near Kundapur for children from migrant families, to teach about hygienic matters as well. Apart from several interactions with local community, we worked in Basrur school on waste management and environemental education. We even did a rally all over the town to raise awareness among community memebers reagring environmental issues.

We grew rice in a paddy field, we went shopping, we struggled and enjoyed spicy Indian food, we saw the cows in the street, we did sustainable-agriculture activities in our Training Centre in Kundapur, we visited Agumber rainforest and we stayed with host families to understand Indian culture a bit more. We learned and grew a lot all over these three weeks!

Teen Camp is a great and complete opportunity for teenagers to experience India in a safe and didactic environment. It was great to have them all here and we are sure they had a wonderful experience.
