This event took place from 20th to 22nd July 2016, in which there were around 5 volunteers from AFS who took part in this QTE. The objective of QTE is to ensure that the volunteers understand about their project, host family and the intercultural acceptance through evaluation and to help participants to prepare themselves for their future actions.

FSL LTV Kundapur team organized different activities like host family skit presentation, session about challenges, motivation and open discussion. We also conducted some games like Acid River, blind fold walk and some energizers.

During the QTE every evening there was some free time and during the free time volunteers discussed with each other, shared their feelings and was really motivated. The second day in the evening volunteers had a one-to-one meeting with their coordinators. All these discussions made volunteers to strengthen their motivation for the rest of their stay in India.

We, all LTV staff, consider this evaluation to be a success. Moreover, according to the volunteer’s feedback, it has actually been successful. However successful it has also been challenging at some point. Despite this, everything worked well and we are really satisfied with our work and results.

Here the feedback form volunteers about the evaluation.
