Play for peace training session
On 3rd of July-15, HBP team organized play for peace activities to tent school team. The training was organized at the training center of FSL-India, Kundapur. We started activities by introducing core values of the activities.
Core values in the Play for Peace process are as follows:
Play for Peace involves cooperation, not competition. In Play for Peace sessions, everybody wins.
Play for Peace involves inclusion. Everyone is included, everyone is welcome to participate.
Play for Peace involves role-modeling. Facilitators exemplify the values of tolerance,compassion, absence of judgment, and non-violence.
Play for Peace involves attention to safety for every child – physical and emotional safety.
Play for Peace involves FUN. Everybody plays, everybody moves, everybody laughs, everybody has lots of fun.
During the activities we played all Energizers / Ice Breakers, De-inhibitisers, Trust Building and communication activities, all teachers and volunteers enjoyed the activities and already started practicing in tent school project, which children also enjoying and adopting core values play for peace. In the training Ms. Inga, Ms. Anjela (Volunteers), Ms. Shalini, Mrs. Geetha (Teachers), Ms. Manjula, Mr. Jeevan (staff) were actively participated and the training was facilitated by Ms. Marta (FSL-Intern).
