My name is Anna Maria Fink. I am 19 years old and working in the Mariella Children’s Home for one year as a social worker. In this orphanage there are about 50 children. 30 girls and 20 boys. In the month of March 2016, FSL organized three different of Cultural visit in three places, cultural meet was in Chennai, Bangalore and Mysore in Themes.
The FSL-India from Chennai facility have taken various efforts to gather the youth boys and formed the youth group in the Dream Village Project at Vallakottai Panchayath.
FSL India Organised three sessions on “Importance of Play among children” in Sengadu Village, Kancheepuram District covering eighty and above mothers and Children. The mothers were inculcate to play within the group along with the children to socially mingle with their children for their future betterment in Health as well as in Education concern.
Holi is one of the major festivals of India, Holi has celebrated with enthusiasm and joy on the full moon day in the month of March. Holi festival celebrated with various names and people of different states might be following different traditions.
We conduct a camp at south India coffee land at Coorg, we were 5 people from different countries and including our team leader. We had wonderful experience at coffee land, such as harvesting coffee, visiting various coffee land and study about coffee crop and how the process was happening, it was such a good experience to be a part of this work camp.
The FSL-India, Chennai facility, On 27th Feb’ 2016, in its Dream Village Project (DVP) had organized an awareness training for the adolescent girls and Child care mothers at Vallakottai Panchayath.
On 19th March, 2016 FSL India organized a free medical camp and it was inaugurated by DR. Ramachandran, Saveetha Hospital with Mr.Sampath Sengadu and President, Mr.Murugavel Hyundai steel.
The culture events held on 18th March 2016 with 5 volunteers. Every month we’ve cultural events for our volunteers where we take our regular them to any cultural and historical places which located in and around Kundapur.
FSL India has hosted 1 long Term Volunteer from Japan. Volunteer has gone through different sessions to be well prepared for their successful journey in India.
