The first three months of my volunteer service in India are already over. I can’t believe how fast the time passes. But on the other hand it feels much longer than only 14 weeks that I am here.

In the month of December 2016, LTV Kundapur has hosted 3 long Term Volunteers for the Cultural event. In the beginning the facilitator let the participants to introduce themselves and explained about further activities. Volunteers looked so excited to visit Hindu temple and to see cave.

FSL-India Organized Hand in Land work camp at Kundapura from 5th to 18th December 2016. The theme of the work camp is Agriculture, Yoga, Culture & kids.

In the month of December 2016, FSL India Bangalore has hosted 1 Long Term Volunteer (LTV) from Sweden. Volunteer has gone through different sessions to be well prepared for her successful journey in India.

In the month of December 2016, FSL India has hosted 3 Long Term Volunteers from France and Finland at our Youth Training Center, Kundapur.

As a part of CSR initiative with the Apollo Tyre – Anemia control and Hygiene promotion project FSL- India as an implementing agency has promoted the kitchen garden in Vallam & Erayiur village.

After attending the Certified International Camp Leader Training by FSL-India in Kundapura from 29th to 31st October, I realize that learning is never of a single dimension.

I am Marlene from Germany and I am 18 years old. Since last three months I am doing volunteering Program in Bengaluru (Karnataka) in the south of India with the organisation FSL-India.

Our LTV Kundapur organized for a Quarterly Evaluation (QTE) for long term volunteers. The QTE was held for 3 days from 30th November to 1st & 2nd December 2016. In total there were around 29 volunteers from AFS, EG & IJGD who took part in this evaluation.

I can’t believe that the third month is already coming to an end, as these last three months have gone so fast. Although it seems like ages ago that we were arriving for our orientation week at the FSL center at Kundapur.
