The volunteers worked with poor children of the Shri Sumer girls middle school, Jodhpur.The school has more than 60 students but due to severe winter this year, the volunteers had to work with about 20students.

 

The activities included painting, basic English lessons, and games. The highlight of the camp was the Picnic arranged by the volunteers for the students and the staff members of the school. This was a great chance for inter-cultural learning and also to de-stress.

Culture: Jodhpur, Rajasthan is rich in its cultural heritage and the volunteers enjoyed visits to the Mehramgarh Fort, Puppet show, Rajssathani folk dance camel Safari, Henna by local people, visited Indian family and also visited the local market.
