Solid Waste Management is one of the important aspects of environment conservation. FSL India through the eco-club project facilitates awareness creation and education for the general public and school going children on solid waste management.

By and large Solid Wastes Management in India over the last few decades has increased considerably. This is largely due to rapid population growth in the country. In Kundapur waste management is the responsibility of municipality.

Eco-club project as one of the home based initiative of FSL India, the staff and volunteers organised and excursion for school going children. The HBP team of FSL India planned to organise education trip to Dump-Site at Mudlakatte. The education trip helped children learn about Solid Waste management practically. FSL India volunteers and staff also organised a visit to organic farm. Altogether 35 High School students visited organic farm and learnt on how vegetable, grains and fruits can be organically cultivated.
