FSL INDIA & HMIF  had organized the International Women’s Day Celebration event at Government High school, Mevalur kuppam on 8^th March’2015 at 9.00 am. The invited delegates are from Hyundai motors India foundation, Indian bank, Police dept, Frooti Pvt, ltd,  Village administrative, Village President, Ward Members, PLF’s, SHGs, School Heads.

 

The event started with the devote song of almighty. The highlight of the program is that the PLF women completely organized and compiled the program.  The children from the primary and high school performed cultural event to portray the bravery of women, development of women etc. The debate was conducted among the women in two groups on the topic ” Whether Education or Economical condition add value to women”. Ms. Anuradha, the HM of Kevalur School honoured as a Judge.

The Chief Guest  Mr. Sridhar of HMIF had spoken about Dream village project and how it helps for the development of the village. Remaining guests had given the thought provoking speech to the huge gatherings.

The awards and mementos were distributed to all the stake holders of DVP village.  Prizes for the school children and SHG members  who won the various competitions were distributed.  Three SHGs had received the loan amount of Rs.5, 00,000/- from Indian bank for keeping up the group intact with authentic accountability.

The trainees were given the course completion certificate for the skill training (Computer). At the end of the program the gathering was provided with the special lunch.
