Dharamsala camp- April
The volunteers worked with the school children of the Naddi government school.The school has more than 65 students, the volunteers had to work with about 40 students.
The activities included painting, basic English lessons, and games. The highlight of the camp was cleaning the Bagsu water fall with the local ngo “Waste warrior” and create awareness to public and tourist on how to manage the waste. They also enjoy 3 days trekking in himalayan range. This was a great chance for inter-cultural learning and also to de-stress.
Culture: Dharamsala is Tibetan culture and the volunteers enjoyed visits to the TIPA, Norbulinga and Bagsu water fall. They also involved in international cooking and enjoy sharing the food!
