On 25^th of January FSL India Kundapur organized a Culture Event for Regular Long Term Volunteers. Every month we organize cultural event for our Regular LTV volunteers and we take them to any cultural and historical places which is located in and around Kundapur.

This month the cultural Event was mainly focused on a House Warming Ceremony.

One of the Family invited us for their new House Warming Ceremony. In the morning the facilitator explained about the activities and the Volunteers began their Journey from the meeting point to cultural event site.

The family welcomed the Volunteers with a Big Smile on their face and provided Lemon Juice.  After which the Volunteers participated in the house opening ceremony. Following the priest and the family members preformed all the rituals, Volunteer were very excited to see the rituals. After the ceremony one of the family members showed the New House and the house was very beautifully constructed.

In the afternoon we had lunch along with the Family Members and their relatives. There were about three different curries and two different rice and even more different vegetables and two different sweets. The food was delicious and we really enjoyed it. Most of the FSL volunteers and staffs also joined in this event. After the Lunch they stayed in the new house for some time and had interaction with other volunteers and family members, and then left the house and travelled back to Kundapur.
