Cultural Meet-Kundapur

The culture visit held on 12th November 2015 with Julia Arzt who came in September 2015 and work with us she works as a teacher in special children school Kundapur. One of the programs in FSL called cultural visit where we take our regular volunteer to any cultural and historical places which is located in or around Kundapur.. FSL India planned to visit Sri Mokkambikka temple which located nearby Udupi. In the morning volunteer she came to training centre we disuse about culture visit whole day plan then we take bus to Shetraktte to Kollur its take 1 hour journey. After reaching the Kollur 1st we entered temple this was very special day because Divali celebrate and other some Special Pooja  is going on lot of people gathered in the temple we take Darshana then we go to “Bojana Shale” volunteer she exiting to see the people a rounding the temple then we take temple food. After we sit in the temple and I explain the temple history.

Visit Dyanapeetta; after visiting Mokambikka temple there is another temple is we are visit its take 1.5Km me and my volunteer we visit that temple spend some time that temple is very good and peace full said by volunteer.  Once we inside the temple then we feel like very peaceful. We spent some time inside the temple.

Feedback: I took volunteer to different places where the Cultural meet volunteer enjoyed and engaged themselves with so much activities. Also the Coordinator done individual one to one talk with volunteer and during the talk volunteer and Coordinator talks about their project, intercultural experience, about host family etc..,

The Culture visit was very good. It was very interesting and nice. I had a good time and it was very interesting to see the temple Thank you. And that Shiva temple (Dyanpeeta) it’s very nice defiantly I will came again with my Parents. Thank you!!
