Cultural Meet – Chennai/Bangalore/Pondicherry/Mysore: 17^th December 2015

In the month of December 2015, FSL organized three different cultural visits in four places, in Chennai, Bangalore, Pondicherry and Mysore

.

In Chennai Zone our FSL Coordinator took two volunteers to many places such as Mahabulipuram, and Vedathangal.

In Pondicherry there was only one volunteer who attended the cultural meet. Our Coordinator took the volunteer to BABY SARAH NGO who are working for special children, orphan children and environment related activities, for an exposure visit and to the Botanical Garden

In Mysore there were three volunteers who attended the cultural meet. Our Coordinator took the volunteers to Jaganmohan Art gallery and Mysore’s Devaraja Market.

In Bangalore there were two volunteers who attended the cultural meet. Our Coordinator took them to Iskcon Temple and Orayan Mall.

Feedback from Volunteer

-It is a good place to see art and many things people have created by hand.

-I could see finally what baby Sarah home looked like, a fine home with disabled children and well organised. Beach – Pondicherry beach was a clean and disciplined place compared to the inner city.

-The visit to the art gallery was very interesting and very nice for me. Deepak explained the pictures, figures…

-I am happy to visit the place with another volunteer and it was a good day for me and I enjoyed today very much.
