In the month of April Bangalore Region has conducted workshop on “Emergency Action Plan” (EAP) to all our local partner, host families and to the Contact Person. To conduct this workshop we welcome 2 facilitators from Educative Collectors .

Get together for the month of April was organized in Uppinakudru village where the volunteers participated in annual Maari festival at a local Bobbarya Temple. Uppinakudru is located at a distance of 6 Km towards north from Kundapur in Udupi district. Uppinakudru literally means ‘Island of Salt’. The LTV get-together for the month of April has been organized in Bangalore on 16th and 17th 2015 in Avadhoota datta peetham (Mysore). There were twelve volunteers and four FSL-India staff members participated in the get together.

Mid-term evaluation was held between 18th-20th March for NH14 BMZ/IJFD volunteers who arrived between the month of September to November. Aim of the MTE is to evaluate the volunteer’s Learnings & contributions in order to develop appropriate strategies to attain quality results. Here I go, finally posting the article I was asked to write about 2 months ago… Well, what would better subscribe my time spent in India then such a delay. 2 months lasting delay can mean only one thing – not having enough time because of being so occupied by discovering amazingly interesting Indian culture… or second – not having internet connection. Or both as in my case.
