In the month of February we organized for a Final Evaluation (FE) for Long Term Volunteers (LTV) at Youth Training Center, FSL Kundapur.
It is so great to let you know that this month of February, 41 boys from 9th standard- Mookambika High School, Mavinakatte, have attended the sessions FSL organises monthly in collaboration with KMC Manipal.
My name is Nina and I am in India since August last year. I can´t believe that now the half of my time in India is over. Time passes by so fast! I work in three different schools. In two primary schools and one high school located near to Kundapur.
On Saturday 25th February. First time,Kundapura FSL- Staff and volunteers together working for fund raising for tent school through selling paper products.
After one year, mangoes are back to this coastal area of Kundapur and everyday our Saibru uncle along with Ramana uncle and Navi (the boy you can see climbing the trees), are coming to harvest them or to shout and avoid monkeys to feed on our tasty mangoes!
This weekend we got the opportunity to join a session in Manipal University about LGBT, which stands for Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender. No one of us expected to learn more about that topic in India.
In the month of February 2017, FSL India LTV Bangalore region organized for a Cultural Event (CE) at Mysore and Kanchipuram zone under different Theme.
On Sunday afternoon, Feb 12th we as interns of FSL India, Bangalore along with the YDP team had organized an interactive workshop on Social Entrepreneurship.
The beginning:My India adventure started with an orientation week in Bangalore and Mysore. There I got my first impression of Indian’s big cities. I found the first week as very stressful and exhausting.
