FSL India has hosted 18 Long Term Volunteers from 3 different countries (Germany, Italy and Taiwan). Volunteers have gone through different practical, theoretical and outdoor sessions to be well prepared for their successful journey in India.

FSL-India and Concordia UK organised a group camp in rural Bangalore called Venkatagiri kottai in the month of August. We had 12 female teen volunteers and 5 mentors and along with our 1 team leader. How to bring up the health with the balanced nutrient among women and mother?! Apollo Tyres CSR collaboration with FSL India replies for this question through conducting Anemic Test Camp. The first step is :  (i) doing anemic physical identification among women and mothers in the villages Oragadam, Sennakuppam and Mathur;  (ii) conducting the Anemic test for the screened anemic cases; (iii) conducting sessions on ‘the ways to follow the balanced diet to bring up the anemic level’.

A group of 7 Volunteers with 6 International and 1 National Volunteer took part in the UNESCO WHV program 2015 staged at Mahabalipuram near Chennai. Mahabalipuram is recognized as the world heritage centre by UNESCO as the town consists of the famous architectural remains of the late 728 A.D which ruled by Pallava Dynasty.
