Sea turtle project Contact person meeting held on 5th January at training center. 8 contact person from different area participated and actively discussed about Sea turtle related issues. They are protecting wounded  sea turtles in their places.

As a volunteer I assist with what is needed, everything from administrative work, to teaching English or to just spend time with the children. Christmas Party at Yedthadi Tent School-December

On 25th of December we, the tent school volunteers Johanna and Hester, together with teacher Shalini organized a Christmas party in the Yedthadi tent school. With the help of the children, Geetha – teacher and Monica – volunteer of the other tent school in Baikadi, our small school was decorated nicely with stars, glitter and a Christmas tree, which the children crafted the day before by themselves.

Last Tuesday, December 22nd 2015, around 50 children from Mavinakatte Primary School came to our training centre in Shetrakatte for a session on Health and Hygiene. The session took 3 hours in the morning and we developed many different activities in this short time regarding health and hygiene and environment.

During January -16 FSL-India, HBP team along with Work camp team conducted drawing competition and prize distribution program at Government higher primary school Mavinkatte, 54 children from 6th & 7th standard participated. Theme of the competition about Environmental issues & agriculture, where the participants are encouraged to visualize their environment as well as current negative influences upon it.
