Onam festival celebration at training center!!
On 15th of September FSL-India Kundapur team celebrated Onam festival at Training center.
Onam is Very famous festival and mainly celebrated in the Kerala state irrespective of cast, religion by decorating
Rangoli with flower & making varieties of food to be welcoming the Lord Mahabali to the earth because God granted him a boon that he could annually visit his people with whom he was so attached. It is the visit of Mahabali that is celebrated as Onam every year and it is sign of prosperous, happiness and family get together.
We celebrated this festival as inter-culture activity with international volunteer by giving them brief introduction about the importance of festival. During this FSL-India Kundapur staff, Volunteers, MSW Field work students of Milagris College of Udupi. All together decorated flower rangoli and enjoyed the festival with sharing happiness together.
