Date: 3^rd to 7^th November                                    Venue:  FSL-India Training Centre, Shetrakatte – Kundapur

In the month of November, FSL India hosted 9 Long Term Volunteers from 3 different countries (Germany, France, and Belgium).  Every evening we have organised different events for the exchange of Intercultural learning. First day was, all the volunteers had chance to have Henna, then in next days we have organized Town tour, farm and temple visit, etc. Meanwhile volunteers had the opportunity to test their skills by working in a project for the half day during the week. Volunteers were also presented the facts and figures of their counties to the school children during “Country Presentation” session.

Volunteer’s feedback on Orientation week:

• The atmosphere was good even if we weren’t come from the same country, we arrived to speak together
• This orientation week is interesting for me because we learn lot of things about India, the culture, the religion, the lifestyle…. we meet the other volunteers and we exchange.
