On first day of the orientation, we welcomed our new batch of volunteers with great excitement. This new group of volunteers showed lot of enthusiasm in knowing our culture, our lifestyle and our food habits etc..,

During the orientation the each day evening we had organized different events for the exchange of ICL (Inter Cultural Learning). First day evening the volunteers had chance to have Henna, second day was project visit with FSl staffs, all have gone to a street children project called “Sparsha Trust ” there volunteers had done presentation of their each country for the School children. Third day all went to see Indian classical dance performance Baratha Natya. Apart from these learnings volunteers also had spoken with FSL personnel about their way of living in their country in the guest house where all volunteer and staffs slumbered.

Volunteer’s feedback on Orientation week:

  • It was really nice. I really like everyone (Volunteer and staff) and I felt very comfortable the whole time which makes me.
  • I very like and very comfortable guest house and FSL office.
  • We learned a lot about the culture and manners. It’s going to be very helpful a few things could make volunteers paranoids,
  • Bring out to a project was really good but way to short add more outdoor and less in school
