This month cultural meet was mainly focused on an actual cultural experience. In the morning we began from the meeting point and started our visit to Kollur ,Sri Mookambika temples by bus. Historically, the temple is at least 1200 years old. We spent an hour time in temple and we had lunch in temple with banana leaves. After lunch we visited temple elephant Indira. Then we left to Dharma Peetha, which is a meditation center. We spent some time in Dharma Peetha and enjoyed the nature and did meditation for some time. Afternoon we left from the temples and came back to Kundapur where everybody could enjoy the rest of the day with their host family.

Feedback from volunteers:
– It was a nice day it was very interesting to see eating in the temple. The meditation center was very nice, too. It was nice to found a quite place where you can enjoy the silence. Thank you for the showing us places.
– I totally enjoyed the day! It was really nice to see the temple in Kollur and to get some new information and experiences from the Indian culture together with other volunteers ! And of course the elephant..🙂 Visiting the mediation temple was great, to get some silence… Thank you for taking us!
– I enjoyed the day. It was interesting to see how they eat in the temple I liked the elephant and also the meditation center, Because India is often that loud and fast and also we volunteers are always doing something. Travelling work meet friends. It was good just to be silent for a moment.
