We are Indian students of FSL-India’s 22nd Happy Move Camp – D team members from Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University College of Engineering, Ananthapuram (JNTUCEA). We had a very great time and good experience with the South Korean volunteers in the camp and our team leader, Manjunath B from FSL-India

The Korean volunteers mingled with us very well, we had great interaction with the Koreans even with the mentors, they were very helpful and caring.

We did renovation work at Government Primary school, Kuruvandanapalli village and at ITI college. We also did paintings, digging, sand filtering for community toilets, renovation works of toilets and did tree plantation work at the school premises. Along with these activities, every day we did house surveys of the local community about their drinking and sanitation problems.

The artists were very helpful and as per their guidance, we made beautiful drawings on the school walls. We improved our communication skills. The Koreans had very good team work.

We also did taught the children along with Koreans volunteers, the teaching classes were interesting and kids enjoyed themselves a lot.

We did some more activites at ITI college at Ananthapuram, participated in a cultural performance along with the Korean volunteers, had amazing moments with the Koreans by doing a dance.

We constructed hand wash basins and made a path for watering of the plants. All of us together shared the work, food and other things. In a very short time, we became very good friends. We had a great exchange of our traditions, life style, food habits with the Koreans. The camp was very joyful.

Thus, we got an amazing experience from the camp, had lots of memories with all the volunteers. We are all very thankful to our team leader . Manjunath B for his great support and kindness.

We express our gratitude and thankfulness to KIA Motors, Better World, FSL- India and JNTUCEA NSS group for giving us this golden opportunity.
