On 28^th of June – 2016 FSL-India organized a training on jasmine cultivation at FSL-India training centre in Shetrakatte, Kundapura with  collaboration of Krishi Vigyan Kendra (KVK) Brahmavar.

 

Farmers of Shetrakatte, Mavinkatte, Interns, FSL-India Kundapur staffs and volunteers participated.  28 people got benefited from training.

The  inaugural function held by giving plants by our resource persons  Dr. Chaitanya KVK Brahmavar. The training has facilitated by Chaitanya (KVK Brahmavar), the training was very informative and motivative to the farmers and participants learned more about the process of jasmine cultivation, planting, pest control, Maintenance, protection, harvesting, marketing possibilities. After the theory session, they had demonstrated how to plant a jasmine sampling & protection. The farmers who attended they will be practice jasmine cultivation as a livelihood activity for households & small land holders. After the training they distributed jasmine plants for the participants.
