We are a group of 17 from Education University of Hongkong who visited India on a leadership development program at Hurulagurki near Bangalore International Airport.

I heard a story about India when I was kid, but now am exploring by myself and comparing what I heard, and what I saw now. I was here for 2 weeks, for a leadership development program. These days have given me a wonderful chance to explore the new culture, with wonderful hospitality and safe environment.

We all are a little tired, sweaty and hot during the implementation of rainwater harvesting system in a school, which is a really useful concept for a very dry area, and this activity helps us to understand more about the procedure and the future benefit of it.

We have all put our inputs and skills during teaching and interactions with the little hearts at a public school during the program. It’s not only a session for us, it’s a complete learning package for us to improve our skills and knowledge.

Our special achievements and learnings were quite interesting and lifetime memorable for us, whatever we had during our trip like interacting with the local community, families, visiting and exploring a new culture and places. This has brought us a complete, colorful feeling about this country, tradition, culture and lifestyle.

We would like to thank FSL India and team for organising this short program. For us, this trip has made us to have unbelievable thoughts on India.
